Chris Sidwa formed VERITAS GENERAL CONTRACTORS as a new chapter in his distinguished history of providing Construction services with integrity and professionalism. An expansive building career gives Mr. Sidwa a foundation of vast knowledge and skills that uniquely position VERITAS to pursue virtually any type of commercial construction project and provide the highest levels of pre-construction, project management, and construction services.

Prior to VERITAS , Chris served 26 years as Senior Vice President of ICI-Dallas. During his tenure there, the company completed more than $2 billion worth of projects. He supervised all day-to-day activities, hired every major position, oversaw all financial aspects, and created the company’s policies and procedures. Chris facilitated ICI’s growth into a multi-faceted, diverse, and trusted General Contracting Company with 85 employees and gross annual sales of $150,000,000.00 for the last many years of his term of service. (Multi-Family Division $100,000,000.00 and Commercial Division 50,000,000.00.) Holding licenses in 22 states, and under Sidwa’s direction, ICI completed projects from New Mexico to Mississippi and all parts in between, specializing in Apartments, Retail, Office, Warehouse, Restaurants, and Medical Buildings, and maintained a strong Interior Finish Department that handled all facets of Interior Construction.

Mark Waddell

Senior Vice President

Mark Waddell oversees the day-to-day operations of VERITAS GENERAL CONTRACTORS . He brings over 18 years of experience in the construction industry with proficiency in project management, environmental protection, estimating, and commercial contracts. His Construction Management expertise encompasses a myriad of Commercial, Multi-Family, Residential, Senior Living/HUD, Naval, Air Force, and FEMA projects. Having served as a Construction Attorney and in-house counsel, he is laser-focused on solutions, utilizing a comprehensive background in sophisticated legal analysis and Construction Law. He has a record of cost-effectively managing multiple projects in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. Mark’s reputation is one of unwavering integrity, perseverance, and dedication to ethical practices. He is a veteran, having served in the United States Army. Mark is Licensed to Practice Law in the State of Texas.
